2009 Igor Zimmerman "La vitesse Et La Pierre" |
| | |
| 'La Vitesse Et La Pierre' is an epic short film made in a collaboration with Whyred. It is a fun, poetic, and melancholy story told entirely through still images and sound. The film was created by director Igor Zimmermann, photograper duo Frode Fjerdingstad and Marcus Palmqvist and was produced by B-Reel Films. Exploring new sides of the creative process to try and find a new visual form in between film and photography this creative team used new procedures and changed roles and responsibilities throughout the production to loosen up the traditional way of making a film. The line between actor, photographer and director was dissolved. The film was shown during a Whyred event at Bio Rio. |

2009 Jonas Nobel Art Objects |
| | |
Choosing Jonas Nobel for this third collaboration was completely natural. Similar to Whyred, Nobel is a multifaceted artist who uses a variety of styles to express his viewpoint. With his political undertone, Nobel uses juxtaposition of materials and techniques and subliminal humor to express his anger or frustration with a particular topic. Nobel made exclusevly for Whyred three art objects: A poetic umberella and scarf and a thoughtfull mirror diplaying the text ”Stil Alive” in the mirroring. |

2006 Roger Andersson Art Objects |
| | |
Roger Andersson is mostly known for his seductive ink drawings and aquarelles, but he also works with sculptures and installations. He is frequently represented in exhibitions in Europe and the US and he is described as an artist with a genuine knowledge of the craft and a passion for the smallest of details. The dualism between the polished and decorative on the one hand, and the surprising on the other is typical of Roger Andersson’s art. He very often uses a kind of typography in his images that is loaded with symbols and he also combines idyllic aesthetics with non-idyllic content. The Whyred collaboration with Roger was a collection of luxurious leather bags with Rogers illustrations engraved. His semi pornographic aquarell drawings of a loving couple in the paradise was also printed on our tees. |

2005 Jockum Nordström Art Objects
| | |
| The first project in the Art series was a collection of men’s and women’s underwear decorated by the famous Swedish artist Jockum Nordström. Jockum is one of Swedens most prominent contemporary artists on the international scene. He is represented at MoMA in New York and recently had a solo exhibition at Moderna Museet in Stockholm. The Jockum/Whyred underwear is decorated with two of Jockum’s most characteristic pencil drawing motives: the sailing boats of Nordström’s childhood and the small birds that can open our eyes to the richness of nature. |
